VAUGHAN PUMPS: MADE IN AMERICA.
In the late 1950s, Jim Vaughan was working on how to solve local, Washington state dairy farmer's clogged manure pumps. With the invention of the first chopper pump, he knew he had something that would help those not only locally, but nation-wide. Today, Vaughan Company is a global company, with over 40 worldwide issued or pending patents, and representation to support nearly any project. No matter where we ship pumps and equipment to, we are still "Made in America."
BUILD AMERICA, BUY AMERICA ACT
For federally funded projects, Vaughan pumps and pumping equipment meet all requirements to receive federal aid under the Build America, Buy America (BABA) act.
- All of Vaughan Company products are manufactured in the United States. (Nearly all Vaughan Company materials are produced in the U.S. and constructed in Vaughan’s 140,000 sq. ft. Washington state-based manufacturing facility.)
- All components of Vaughan Company products that are mined, produced, or manufactured in the United States consistently equate to (much) more than 55 percent of the total cost of all components of the manufactured product. (With an extensive $10M inventory, a large surplus of spare parts and strong relationships with domestic suppliers and foundries, Vaughan ensures reliable quality and fast lead times.)
